Obviously I LOVE decorating. I’ve been in my classroom setting up all summer long and I love decorating my home just as much. We do a ton of decorating for Halloween and Christmas but I’ve been trying to incorporate a little something each month to go with what’s going on during that time of year.
So naturally, August-September can be a little school decor at home.
ABC123 Letters are HERE
I’m loving my little DIY ruler corkboard. It adds a little touch of school.
I got the globe inspiration from Andrea and I found these inflatable globes from Oriental Trading Company. I love the visual the globe provides but also they deflate for easy storing until next year!
This vase has been my favorite find of the summer. I came across it at Home Goods all by itself in the ceramic isle, just begging to be filled with colorful flowers. 😍
I filled the tv stand with more globes and of course, the kid’s first day of school pictures! 😢
The kid’s corner is always a high traffic area. With school just around the corner we’re practicing keeping some of our skills on point. Maddox is practicing letter sounds and tracing. Mia is practicing pencil grip and color recognition. We try to always incorporate our ABC Bible Verse in our daily schedule as well. I used this caddy at their table to fill with meaningful crafts and games.
I also shared a photo of my favorite back to school gift to receive from students so I shared this on my facebook page…
Wanna know what to get your kid’s teacher as a back to school gift? All you need are some pretty pens in pretty colors. I promise, any teacher (in their right mind) would love this pack of limited edition candy pop FLAIR pens! Throw them in a mason jar, add a little note and you have one happy teacher! 😍 I promise!
So I promised my friends that I would make a few tag options to go with this little gift idea.
You can get these tags, if you’d like by clicking the photo below.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy back to school time!
