I love a good reason to spoil my kids and this umbrella idea was floating around Pinterest and I knew I had to do it for my kiddos. I ended up adding a few other things like clips for Mia’s hair, her Peek A Who Bunny and some Star Wars bandaids for Maddox, cause why not?
Umbrella- I like the umbrella idea because it made the perfect “basket”. I ordered these from Amazon.
Pajamas- I knew I needed to be practical with my “gift giving” so we went with some warmer weather jammies. Carter’s has sales often and it’s always great quality!
Gardening Kit– The kids LOVE digging in the dirt and exploring outside so, what better way than to have everything right there for you! This kit has everything you need to start your own little gardening club! Hopefully, their green thumb is better than mine!
Movies- It’s no surprise, we’re movie fanatics around here. We haven’t seen Moana yet (still on a Trolls & Beauty and the Beast high) so I know it will become a favorite as well. Mia got the “real” Cinderella because she’s kind of obsessed with princesses and when we saw this she fell in love!
Books- We always love a good book! This is a staple in our gifts, I ordered this sweet story on Amazon but I also got a few at my school book fair so it worked out perfectly!
Bubbles/Dollar Spot Items- I mean, who doesn’t love a good dollar spot?! I posted all about decorating with dollar spot items here. It’s so easy to stock up on small goodies like bubbles, chalk, notepads and much more!
Some other great ideas for a toddler easter basket:
playdough
sidewalk chalk
kite
water colors
sunglasses
stickers/coloring book
flashcards
camera (my kids LOVE theirs)
flavored chapstick
self inking stamps
If you have a teenage boy I thought this would be a GREAT idea!
And I love this idea for a teenage girl… an Easter Jar!
For now I’ll enjoy putting “toddler goodies” in their baskets. #timecanstopnow
