June brought on a bunch of Kindle Unlimited books. Unfortunately, some weren’t a great as others.
Keep It In The Family | John Marrs
Wow, this started off the month with a bang! My first John Marrs novel, and it won't be my last. This page-turner was full of shocking twists. I kept thinking I had something figured out, only to find out that I was wrong. If you like a dark and creepy popcorn thriller you'll like this one.
This book is dark and seriously disturbing. If you can handle these topics I would continue, otherwise please check trigger warnings.
This book made me feel like I was watching a real-life documentary about a kidnapping. The graphic elements had me cringing and shutting my eyes, but the plot was so suspenseful I couldn’t put it down.
Emily Henry can do no wrong! This one is another cute and swoony love story with the most loveable characters. Miles is the best book boyfriend ever! I especially love when she writes book-loving mcs’s like Daphne.
The banter in this is uncanny. Daphne and Miles are an exceptional pair, she can write a simple story while her character development is extraordinary.
A thriller I found on Kindle Unlimited. It served its purpose; quick and entertaining, but not much else.
Nya who starts living in a house with a tenant who gives her the creeps. She’s poor and has no friends, and soon we discover that something’s not right with the house and tenant she lives with.
It kept me interested but it just wasn’t my favorite.
