Today I’m sharing some ways I’ve decorated to add a little Easter fun into the home. I am NOT a decorator by any means, but I like making the living spaces colorful and fun so the kids can enjoy it.
Ok, so y’all know how much I love the Target right? Well, let me tell you something, most of my decorations came from Target or the Dollar Spot! I tried to link everything below each photo but if there’s isn’t a link it’s because I couldn’t find it online. 🙁 But if you leave a comment I can at least reply with where I got it from.
Our mantle is always a fun space to fill up! I love adding a pop of color (since our home is full of warm tones) and I am obsessed with banners, is that the teacher in me?
Wooden Arrows Sign/Banner (Dollar Spot)/Egg Garland (Hobby Lobby)
Last year Uncle Manny got the kid’s these adorable little Mickey & Minnie in their Easter baskets and that was their favorite part of decorations this year (of course)!
Porcelain Bunny/Bunny Grass Vase & Bunny wreath (Hobby Lobby)
Like I said, I really like adding a little touch of fun for the kiddos so their dinner table is a fun space to sit together.
Table & Chairs/Runner/Bunny Plates/Napkins/Carrots ($ Spot)/Treat Cups
These bowls have been one of my favorite little colorful touches. They were only $3 a few years ago from Target’s Dollar spot and I have definitely gotten my money’s worth.
This three tiered stand is from a few years ago so I couldn’t find the exact same one but I found THIS alternative and I love the galvanized metal even better!
Porcelain Bunny/Gold Home Sign ($ Spot)/Bunny Mom & Babies (Hobby Lobby)
Cross Wreath (Hobby Lobby)
I love decorating each season because it’s fun for me, I don’t see it as a chore. I am a first grade teacher so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. But when my kids look back to their upbringing I want them to remember a lively home filled with fun and love.
Do you decorate your home with each season?
