This Easter was very different. We woke up had an treasure hunt for baskets and the kids had so much fun! We watched church in our jammies, had an egg hunt, grilled burgers and stayed outside all day!
The kids absolutely loved Easter scavenger hunt that I shared last week from Happiness is Homemade. They enjoyed looking through their baskets and finding all the goodies! If you want to see what they got, see this post.
Mia couldn’t wait to put on her Easter dress (it was a twirly one) from Sweet Honey, and she twirled the day away!
She begged to wear my Madison Braid and looked toooooo old for my liking.
The kids had a fun egg hunt and then dug through all their goodies.
They loved the “hunt” so much that they took all the empty eggs and took turns hiding them from each other.
In my stories last week I showed a quick peek into our holy week calendar and how we incorporate scripture all week long. If you’d like to try this next year with your kiddos click this link to download your own copy.
We didn’t create this beautiful masterpiece but it was too beautiful not to share.
HE IS RISEN INDEED!
Happy Easter my friends!
