One of Us is Lying was a great start to the month! This book was an exciting ya read. It’s a mix of Breakfast Club and Pretty Little Liars. It’s about 5 teeenagers that are not friends, go into detention and only 4 come out alive! It’s full of suspense and intrigue as you get to know these characters and uncover the secret some of them are keeping. And if you like audio books, Cooper’s voice sounds JUST LIKE Matthew McCcconaughey. 😍
Let me just start by saying Colleen Hoover NEVER disappoints. This was such a great, intense read. I’m so glad my friend Meryl let me borrow it, she shares my love for Hoover. Ulgy Love is an intense read about first loves and how it affects you for years to come! I loved the dual perspectives and the alternating storytelling from years passed. This one is another MUST READ!
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was such a fun, light read! It was perfect for summer days by the pool or snuggling up with a good cup of coffee. This is another ya read, but I fell in love with the main character and her family. She has the most adorable fashion sense, (reminded me of Clueless). Follows a girl called Lara Jean and through her life she has written letters to all the boys she has loved in her past, she keeps these letters safely tucked away from the world. However, one day she finds they are gone, her letters have been sent out, and everyone she has ever loved now knows. Including her older sister’s ex-boyfriend. This story follows Lara Jean as she struggles with her relationship with her older sister and her past loves.
P.S. I Still Love You was the sequel to the previous book and I loved it so much! It was a follow up to the story about Laura Jean and I just love how sweet and innocent it all is. I mean, she is a teenager and is going through some things with boys but it’s a nice, clean read; safe for any teenager. I love her personality and I love watching her mature as she comes to her senior year. Very cute, fun read.
