The school year is in full swing! I’m sorry it took me so long to get this one out but whew, teaching is hard work!
I’m excited to share my new classroom with you guys. I’m sure it will continue to change as we see different needs throughout, but for now here’s what it looks like. Thanks for stopping by friends!
Our classroom library is my favorite part. I don’t have a lot of space for couches and chairs but the kiddos love cozying up under a table or with a pillow. The black book boxes on the left are the student’s reading books. I now have them labeled and stuffed with books at their level.
My students share lockers so there are two names per locker. I saved the top bulletin for anchor charts that we create throughout the year.
This is where we gather for learning. Our book nook houses our themed books and the students get to sit at the square rug from Lakeshore.
There are what the student book boxes look like with their name and matching Melonhead on the front.
Seat sacks are my absolute favorite!
I started with these frames but then moved back to fans above each table.
Tiles, math stations and ipads.
Since our school’s theme is “camp” I thought this was appropriate.
Thanks for stopping by, I love peeking into classrooms so I hope you got an idea or two!
