Long time no see friends! I have been a little busy with, you know, family, a new grade, DRA’s (ugh), and other stuffs! But, oh, how I’ve missed you! I’ve been trying to keep up with my teacher friends through Instagram and that has been fun, seeing what everyone is doing during FALL!! If you’re not a follower click here to join the fun!
Ok, onto my CURRENTLY for October! I love linking up with Farley for this each month!
Yippeeee!
Seriously ya’ll, I can watch Criminal Minds for days on end! It’s always good to have on in the background and it’s always so good! Reid is my favorite! 🙂 It used to be Law and Order: SVU but I think I have watched EVERY.SINGLE. EPISODE. I’m serious. Every time I record a re run or a marathon, I have to delete them all because after the first 30 seconds I know what happens. (Although on a rainy day, I don’t mind a re run!)
LOVE every minute I get with my boy! If you know my story, I taught Kindergarten for 3 years and then I had Maddox in March and decided I was going to stay home. After 6 months of staying home, creating and blogging, my heart was screaming to get back in the calssroom! Although I’m loving it and LOVING second grade, I totally miss my little guy. You would too right? Look at that face!!
He’s seven months and I will be posting his monthly this weekend! If you want to follow my family blog click the link below!
I’m not sure why but I can’t wait to get a beautiful fall color on my nails this weekend! I’ll be sure to instagram a pic! 😉
I have been trying to rack up those points on Scholastic to get more books for SECOND graders! My library was ALL picture books before so I had to beef it up! Look what I’ve got so far, thanks to points and of course, Amazon prime!
Needing a little date night with my hubby! We’ve been so busy with Maddox and work that we have about ten minutes of “catch up” time each night and I miss laughing and being silly with him! Maybe we can get a babysitter Friday night! hmmmm… any takers? lol
Aren’t my boys handsome?…
And for my TREAT! I’m leaving you with a quick and easy money sort. We’ve been reviewing money this week and this is a little activity I did with my kiddos. Super easy and great to see who remembers their money! Just click the picture to get yours!
What a cutie pie you have! I know the feeling of wanting to be out of the classroom with your little but still wanting to be teaching. I did the same with my daughter. I went back when she was 6 months old like you did and it was so hard, yet something I just needed to do. With my two sons now, it seems that my time off gets shorter and shorter each subsequent kid….;)
And I am also enjoying following everyone through Instagram (as if I needed another reason to constantly be checking my phone 😉 )
