What a beautiful weekend celebrating Jesus resurrection. I can’t wait to really start doing activities and more bible stories with Maddox during the holidays. We read the Bible story on our Kid Bible App and he really liked it! It was a great way to see and hear about Jesus resurrecting and the empty tomb. We even talked about what an empty egg represents. I pray Maddox and Mia grow to love Jesus!
Our weekend was filled with fun; hunts, church, food and the ER… more on that later.
(Don’t worry the kids are fine, it was mommy).
I can’t even imagine my kids being older than 2 and 4 months… STAY LITTLE BABIES!
Love her smiles!
The kids woke up to Easter baskets and we opened them in bed. 🙂
Just like I thought the buckle toy was his favorite.
Later on Aunt Sissy, Uncle Vinny and Uncle Manny gave Maddox and Mia their baskets.
The cheddar bunnies were his favorite.
My sister knows me too well. This is what she got sweet Mia Lynn.
Nothing cuter than baby toes.
Being silly with Uncle Vinny.
Mia didn’t want mommy to lose her bib.
Maddox loves bouncing with Daddy!
Paw Paw got Maddox a cool wagon!
And he loved riding in it!
I did my first Easter egg hunt as a mom and hid set out a ton of eggs for our neighborhood egg hunt.
Ready for his second egg hunt… you can see the first one here.
We were so glad our friends got to come and play too!
Mia loved chilling in her car seat and checking everything out.
Guess who showed up?!
Pawpaw!! I mean, the Easter Bunny!!!
Isn’t this the cutest?! Of course, Maddox wanted nothing to do with this giant bunny.
Love my family.
Uncle Manny got some Mia time.
Love these guys! Sissy, you’re too cool!
We enjoyed church with the family!
Nonni & Poppy!
This was the only picture I could snap of Maddox.
But he loved huggin’ on his cousin Ainsley. 🙂
We even got to FaceTime Memaw!!
Sunday ended with Zach taking me to th ER because my tongue got stuck on my braces! Oh my goodness it was the wierdest, most awkward pain ever. They were able to “un-stick it” rather quickly and other than being a little sore everything was fine 30 minutes later. It was pretty hilarious after the fact. But I did end my night with a giant glass of wine after the kids went down, it was my reward! 🙂
All in all it was a great weekend filled with blessings!
