I know I’ve been gone for while but I was busy having babies and stuff. Aren’t they cute?! I’ve also been blogging on my family blog over at BestLittleMooreHouseinTexas.com swing by for a peek into my home!
I wanted to start out slow with a little Five for Friday, so I’m linking up with Kacey at Doodle Bugs for some of my favorites.
I have been really inspired to really put a better effort towards my morning meeting. This year our specials are first thing, (half an hour after the bell) so it’s a great chunk of time to get a good rhythm going and using this time effectively. I recently came across Kristen’s post about how she uses her time in morning meeting and I got so motivated! She has a ton of ideas in this post if you’re interested.
I also have been pinning away onto my Pinterest board.
You guys! I have been obsessed with this show! I am in LOVE with Joanna Gaines, she’s my designer hero! If you haven’t seen this show, you must go to HGTV RIGHT now and record one or twelve episodes. You won’t be disappointed! Ahh I love summer!
Here’s a little behavior calendar I just finished and it’s in my store. It’s only $1.50 so if you need one for this school year, go check it out!

I’m assuming all of you are on Periscope (because it’s taking over the teaching world) but if you’re not…. you must get it. Now.
Periscope is a live video app that you can interact with the person filming. Teachers are sharing their best tips and tricks. It consumes meeee! Everytime I hear that little whistle I run to my phone, find a quiet spot and start watching and chatting. I have made a few videos (that weren’t too great) but I have a few ideas for my next videos.
Find me and join the fun!!!
I can’t believe it’s time to start planning for the school year. I opened up my first day lesson plan and it gave me a little anxiety lol. It made me really excited but also nervous for a new beginning and the weeks of procedures we must model and teach. We can do it, right?! Here’s what it looks like…
Is the first day too soon to start Go Noodle brain breaks?!
It's never too early to start Go Noodle! It will have your kids going home on the first day of school imagining all of the experiences they're going to have in your room for the year! How exciting! 🙂 And your kids are ADORABLE! 🙂 I love their shirts. 🙂
That's a great point, kids love go noodle!! Thank you, I love photographing them, but it's rare to get them BOTH looking at the camera lol. Thanks for stopping by!

I think kids need MORE breaks those first few days. Your lesson plans are so cute! Do you do daily plans like this throughout the school year?
