I love returning to school on a short week, it eases us back into our routine which is nice but it was still hard to get back into the swing of things.
Monday and Tuesday we were off then Wednesday we all got back to school. I could tell the kids missed their teachers, they both skipped into school and were happy as ever to be back!
Mia has been doing so good with her potty training! I would like to say she’s potty trained (most of the time) but she still wears a pull up at night and doesn’t stay dry but that’s ok, I’ll take it.
Maddox has been making us laugh lately with his vocabulary! It’s really funny to hear your 3 year old say things like “meanwhile” or “especially”. His favorite lately has been this Robot book, it’s so cute watching him “read” it.
I’ve been reading a lot too! My friend got me hooked on this book and I loved it! I was super excited to see that it’s going to be an HBO series soon!
As soon as I finished I started reading this one and I can’t put it down! It’s so good!!!
The early part of the week was warmer so we tried to enjoy some outside time and the kids LOVE standing on daddy’s hands.
Finally, I have loved getting started in my new little Happy Planner! When my Erin Condren Life Planner was up, I decided to try something different; something smaller. This mini planner is perfect for trotting along in my purse or laptop bag. It was only $10 at Michael’s and I love the design!

I was excited for school to start back and to get back on our routine this week! Big Little Lies is a great book and I have enjoyed all but one of her’s. I had no clue that it was going to be an HBO series, I really need to get HBO now! Have a wonderful weekend!
I have not read Big Little Lies but want too. That might be my next book. I have read some of her other books, “What Alice Forgot” and “The Hypnotist’s Love Story”. Both were great reads. I just got a EC planner and love it, but am thinking about getting a Happy Planner for my Teacher Lesson Plan book next year. My colleague has one and the price point cannot be beat, especially since it is almost identical to EC. Have a great weekend!
