Well, kinda. This Texas weather goes back and forth but it’s October dang it and I’ll decorate if I want to!!
We love the fall season; cooler weather, football, pumpkins, scarecrows and pumpkin spice lattes! Ha, but really.
So anyway, it’s been kind of hard decorating because every spare minute we have all we want to do is sleep! But we did make it to the pumpkin patch this week! It was Maddox’s first time and he loved it, liked it, let’s just say it was his first time.
At first he was all…
“whaaaaat?”
Then he was all…
“I’m done.”
I’m pretty sure he was just a little overwhelmed,
but then we found our friends!!
Then of course we forced him to take some family photos.
I’m pretty sure by this point he was completely over it. But we kept on snapping!
Then it happened. We got a grin!… kinda
And then he was all….
“No, seriously.”
All in all, it was a fun day! The weather was gorgeous and we got to see our friends, so it was a win!
Now that fall is here, decorating is in full swing! Here’s what we’ve done so far.
Then I decided I wanted to craft! I wanted to spice up some of our plastic pumpkins we had at home. So I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a variety of ribbon and took out my trusty glue gun!
And voila!
Love the way they turned out! And the “M” was just a vinyl decal I found. Super easy!
Then we had a craft party with our friends and we had a blast!!

Olivia was napping so we didn’t get to snap a final product but Elliot had sooo much fun painting!
We just love fall, October and crafting!!
Now I’m off to bake a pumpkin pie! Yeah right, I’ll just light a pumpkin spice candle. 🙂
