Let me start with…. I hated this book.
This book is about a woman that loses her husband within days of having her second child. He gets in a car accident with their four year old daughter, who ends up completely unharmed. She starts to question the accident and goes into a spiral of events that reflect postpartum depression and a grieving widow in one. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the ending and I have such a bad taste in my mouth about this one. #dontwasteyourtime
What the MILKSHAKE just happened?! Y’all, this book was the definition of suspense and compulsive reading. It starts off with a sweet couple that had their first baby that decides to attend a dinner party next door even though their babysitter had to cancel. They take over the monitor and check on the baby every half hour, but after a couple bottles of wine with the neighbors, they get home to see the baby is missing! Then all the secrets unfold… mom has post partum depression, the dad is having trouble with his job and slowly learning more about the couple next door will leave your jaw on the ground until the end! #peoplebecray
THIS book was bananas! I had heard about it before but when Leslie picked it for a “Book of the Month” I hopped on board. It was sooo twisted, I couldn’t put it down! It’s about a couple that seems to be absolutely perfect until her husband goes missing after a plane crash that he wasn’t supposed to be on! It has twist after twist after twist! And when you think you know everything…. another twist! #micdrop #totalsuspense
This book talks about some pretty powerful and moving stuff and will therefore make you emotional for all the right reasons, but it will also give you mad-happy feels until you’re smiling to yourself. It’s about a college girl that gets sucked into a social experiment that changes her life… for the better! If you want a feel good read with all the feels, pick this one asap! #cookiesandlove
