After a very heavy two weeks, I thought I would pop on and let you all know what life has been like lately. Writing and sharing with you guys is very therapeutic for me and I just miss being in touch with everyone, so what better way than to invite you guys over and see what’s been going on.
Each morning I’ve been incorporating this amazing devotional into my morning routine and I love the journaling aspect it provides. It allows me to reflect and respond in my own way. I’ve also been using my Bible app for a daily verse to connect with. Staying close to the Lord is at the top of my priority list now, more than ever. Hearing God’s word gives me peace and so much comfort.
While I am recovering from surgery our amazing community has come together to bring us meals. This has been SO incredibly helpful during my recovery with two toddlers that need a lot of attention and there’s only one adult that can really do everything. We are so incredibly thankful for our friends who have supported us in this way, we can’t thank everyone enough.
The kids have been doing so good with understanding how much mommy can do. They choose to color, play legos or puzzles in the evenings and I love being able to sit and watch or play with them. Thankful for the rain so I can spend time with them, (otherwise they would be outside until dark).
The sun came out this weekend so we spent it outside!
Sunday I felt so much better and was ready to get out of the house. We went to church and it was so nice being back in our normal routine. There were some very moving moments that led me to some tears but it was very much needed. We even got to see one of our very best friend’s son get baptised. God is so good!
This week is BIRTHDAY week for our big boy, Maddox will be f.i.v.e. on Thursday and I can’t even handle it. It’s going to be an awesome week of celebrating this kid, he is such a joy to our family!
Thanks for stopping by, love to you all!
