We did it!
We finally took a trip without the kids. Don’t get me wrong, leaving them was incredibly hard and we missed them every minute of the day… but boy was it good to have time with just the hubby and I.
We took a quick 2.5 hour flight to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 4 days to an all inclusive hotel with some of our best friends! We had an amazing stay and a memorable time!
We spent most of our days lounging by the pool in our own private cabana with a personal waiter and too much food and drinks than we can handle.
We caught up on life, read books, magazines and took NAPS out by the pool!
We made memories and got a little too much sun!
This guy just makes me so happy!
The girls and I before going out on the town. #allthesnapchatfilters
One of the best days was spent on an Extreme Outdoor Adventure tour. You guys… this was so much fun and such an adrenaline rush! It started with a speedboat ride to Boca de Tomatlan, a secluded beach at the edge of the jungle on the southern shores of Banderas Bay. Then a 4×4 ride to the Sierra Madre Mountains. And if that wasn’t high enough we took the rest of the way up the mountain on a mule.
Once up the mountain we ziplined, repelled and slid our way back down the mountains.
Talk about a memorable experience!
Repelling down to the water right beside a beautiful waterfall.
Ziplining was my absolute favorite!
Shout out to Brandon for setting up this great adventure!
Overall we had an amazing time and made amazing memories….
But the best part of the trip was coming home and hugging our babies.
We are so thankful for all the photos and facetime we got while we were away and for the love our families put into taking care of the kiddos. THANK YOU to Nonni and Poppy for keeping them!!! Thanks to Aunt Aly and Uncle Michael for taking part in watching the crazies. Thanks to Aunt Vanah and Uncle Justin for coming to Maddox’s soccer practice. Thanks to Memaw and Nay for coming as well. And thanks to Paw Paw for coming to the game and bringing popsicles for the players. It truly does take a village and we’re so THANKFUL for such a supportive family.
Love you guys!

What a fun trip! It’s always good to get away kid free for a bit. But I would agree that coming home to all the crazy is just the best
