Guess what day it is????
Book DAY!
Here are the four books I read this month, a little bit of everything. Let’s get into it…
This is the sweetest young adult that I have read in a while. Poppy and Rune, will always have a piece of my heart. It was a beautiful and heartbreaking story. Proceed with caution.
The plot is just darling!!! Poppy’s gran is dying, and on her death bed she gives her a jar with a thousand blank kisses and challenges her to live her best life and write down every kiss that she will cherish forever.
You will cry. Grab your tissues. But you will also feel hope and passion. This was an excellent book, a fast read and one I’ll recomend for years to come.

I can’t tell you how much I freakin’ loved this book! I usually do NOT enjoy fantasy-romance but this book is something special.
Violet (a.k.a.Violence) is such an amazing MC. This definitely gave me Hunger Game vibes with a twist of romance from Twilight.I truly think it would be best to go in blind, but if you MUST know something about it, here’s what I’ll tell you. Violet is about to start at Basgiath, a war college of dragon riders and scribes. She is called to train as a rider although all she’s ever known is books. She must learn how to become the best at her craft, even though strength is her weakness, she plans to outwit every one of her components. All while navigating her growing feelings for a certain forbidden guy. There’s romance and spice, so prepare yourself. You will be on the edge of your seat the entire time. And when you get to the last page your jaw will drop and you’ll be left floored.
The world building, the tension, the dragons and sheer excitement has made this my favorite romantasy ever.

This was a magical masterpiece. Rebecca Ross truly has a gift for writing beautifully. We find that the two main characters have magic typewriters that they can send back and forth to each other without knowing who they are writing to. Although there was a war of gods that sounded cool; I felt was minimally explained. So I was left wishing there was a bit more world building.
It was still very good and I would recommend to a young reader or someone that likes a nice, clean book with a little magic and romance. And if you love a writing style that is poetic, this is a great one!!

This was an emotional rollercoaster! Britney went through so much, that so many people understood. Her writing urges you to look past what is portrayed in the media.
What would you do if your children were taken away? If you were followed constantly by paparazzi, who caught your worst moments. Or if your mother wrote a memoir about your mental breakdowns, then promoted it, instead of helping you? Gosh, this was heartbreaking and eye-opening.
If you’re a pop culture fan, and don’t mind too much that’s not a literary masterpiece, then I recommend you pick this one up. The audiobook was narrated by Michelle Williams, it was easy to listen to and she did excellent.
