.Herschel Backpack– The kids need a good, strong backpack that will last throughout the year and is big enough to house folders, notebooks and lunchboxes. This is a great option for those boys that will throw their backpack on the ground at least twice a day. 😉
.Girls Backpack– This adorable backpack is a tiny bit smaller, great for preschool age. It has a small pocket on the inside that is great to divide something within the backpack.
.Pencil/Marker Pouch– I love these cute little pouches because it opens two different ways. I like to see all of y writing materials and the side open is perfect for your creative writing time.
.Hydro Flask Water Bottle– These are great water bottles for school. They will keep their water cold all day and has multiple options for lids, including the pop top straw lid, so no spills in the classroom! And don’t forget your child’s name labels, I like Sticker Kid and Inchbug.
.Kids Headphones– Most teachers will ask for your child to bring in a set of headphones to use throughout the year. This brand is one of my favorites. They last all year and are great quality.
.YumBox– I have talked a lot about these bento boxes. They are still at the TOP of my list. They are durable, keep food separated and is easy to wash and eliminates waste.
.Rolling Cart– Rolling Cart with Extra Storage– I love the idea of having a homework station at home. Your kids know where materials are and the “mess” of it all is contained into one spot. Like this photo below from Maggie at Smashed Peas and Carrots.
.Flair Pens– Flairs will be on every list of mine from now until eternity. Get some for your teens, or your kid’s teacher. Either way, make someone happy and buy them a pack.
.Hand Sanitizer– Kids don’t wash their hands. Did you know that? When they are at school, they never wash their hands. And if they do, they don’t do it correctly. This small spray hand sanitizer is perfect for your kids lunchbox or backpack. Remind them to use it before lunch and maybe they’ll only come home with half the germs from the day.
.EOS Organic Lip Balm– This is a great one for the backpack because they can’t push the chapstick up so high that it gets smushed into the cap.
.Organization Buckets– If you get the homework station, then you’ll need these cute buckets to organize their writing materials.
12. Notebooks– Maddox’s kindergarten teacher asked us to keep a running journal (as homework) all year long. It was very insightful watching him grow in his writing and creativity throughout the year. I also got to compare his August journal to his May journal entries and it was really neat seeing the growth for myself. So get them a notebook, allow them to write about their day and see the magic!
Teachers are always in need of something for the classroom and if they choose, they can grab it on Amazon and have it in two days. 🙂 So feel free to grab this tag and send them a happy gc for some supplies… or wine. 🙂
