Teacher Appreciation is here and as a mom and teacher I thought I could share a few gift ideas with you.
Being a teacher is hard work. Especially a Preschool or elementary school teacher. The job is exhausting and the kids need all of your attention. With that being said, we do it because we love it (obviously not for the paycheck 😜). So we aren’t looking for lavish gifts. The heartfelt letters are way more memorable than something with a higher price tag. Here are a few ideas that will show your gratitude and won’t break the bank.
- A small bundle of flowers will always brighten our day.
- Write a letter and have your child write one as well. This will always be a reminder to that teacher of you and your sweetie.
- Drop off a morning drink or coffee on the way to school. This works best when it’s out of the blue but sometimes you have to ask what day/time they prefer to line up schedules.
- Sweet treats are ALWAYS good idea. Chocolate covered almonds or whatever their favorite treat will always put a smile on their face.
- Lunch! If you can’t take it to them, send it through Door Dash. They will forever be grateful.
- A cupcake or bundtlet is always a winner. (Unless they’re like fitness freaks, but who wouldn’t love a cupcake? 😂)
- Popcorn and movie gift card is always a great idea!
- A beach towel and a magazine will be a sweet, relaxin gift.
- A gift card to Target because every teacher needs Flair pens and Dollar Spot goodies.
- Wine. All the wine. Kidding. But I’m not.
Most importantly TELL THEM you are thankful for them. All the hard work and dedication they put into your child’s lives should not be overlooked. I am so grateful for each of my kid’s teachers. They have truly blessed our kids and our family by their leadership and patience.
Here are a few funnies that will make you laugh!
