I love love. This year we are forgoing the 14 paper hearts on the kid’s door and we’re trying something new! My super talented friend is offering this FREE printable page to use for your home. Just visit her blog and get the freebie download right away. Isn’t it adorable?
Once I had the page printed out I purchased these gold scratch off stickers and got to work. For each kiddo I wrote in 7 things and Zach wrote the other 7 in each circle. Then we placed the stickers over the words and hung them up! Each morning, starting Feb. 1st, we will watch each of the kids scratch off the gold sticker to reveal 14 special things we love about them. I especially love that it doesn’t include candy, or gifts… it’s just words of affirmation (which we all thrive on) for them to start their day.
If you’d like to download your own to do with your kids or spouse just click here for the Scriptly Collection blog. She is amazing at creating custom, unique pieces for your home with words of truth.
I found some sweet goodies to spice up my kitchen counter because I see it everyday and it makes me happy.
This sweet little truck and rollers are from Hobby Lobby, eek they just give me heart eyes! 😍
I shared on my stories about Mia and I making these sweet little yarn hearts. They were so easy and fun to do together!
So we used them for filler on our dining room centerpiece. Thanks to Jen for the adorable idea!
I love using seasonal garland to add to the mantle. These are from Pearl & Jane. I added little twinkle lights too because once Christmas was over and the trees came down, so did all the magical little fairy lights. These bring the perfect vibe back into our evenings at home.
And for all my book lovers… here’s a pretty pink stack to gawk at. I’m actually trying to read books with pink covers in February! If you’d like to follow along check out my IG or Goodreads.
I couldn’t do a pink stack without displaying a red stack. ❤️
And if you need a few new reads for the kiddos, these are the current favs. I like to keep an ongoing list of all seasonal books that my kids love- you can see more here.
Well that’s it for now. Thanks for stopping by friends! Hope you found some fun ideas for your Valentine’s Day.
XOXO
